Why is Final Gift the Region's Preferred Pet Crematory?
The concept for Final Gift Pet Cremation Services evolved after we suffered the loss of our dearest friend and companion: Like many other pet owners, we were faced with the difficult decision of properly saying 'Goodbye' and giving our friend one last gift for the lifetime of love and loyalty she gave to us.
The options for finding convenient, affordable after-care in our community were unfavorable, including a lengthy wait for the return of our pet's remains. The establishment of Final Gift Pet Cremation Services served a need for Rhode Island and New England pet owners.
Final Gift is committed to providing veterinarians and pet owners with the finest, most complete and professional pet after-care services available. As pet owners ourselves, we treat your companion as a member of the family. Let the caring staff at Final Gift provide your pet with the services it deserves.
What is the Cremation Process?
Cremation is an age-old, traditional, clean and rapid method of reducing a loved one's remains: The pet is gently laid on the hearth of the crematory, the door is shut until the cremation is complete and the remains are then gathered with care. Cremation of an average-sized pet takes about two hours.
Remains from individual cremations are placed in an urn chosen by the owner. An official certificate of cremation is enclosed.
What are the Differences Between Individual and Communal Cremation?
Individual Cremation: Your pet is individually cremated, and its ashes are kept separate from those of other pets. They are returned in an urn of the owner's choice. This is a dignified process, and the pet's privacy is assured at all times.
Communal Cremation: Pets share the cremation. Pets' ashes are not individually separated and are not returned to the owner; they are scattered on our family farm.
How Do I Know I'm Getting The Right Ashes Back?
Final Gift Pet Cremation Services has earned the trust of the community with its 'Open Door Policy': We encourage tours of our state-of-the-art crematory; you may see the crematory; and you are always welcome to speak with the certified crematory operator. Some families choose to witness placement into the crematory.
How Much Does Cremation Cost?
Cremation is available for pets weighing up to 400 pounds. Prices are based on the size of the pet, service chosen and urn selection. We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal checks, money orders and cash in payment
