Cremation Options

Final Gift offers Witnessed, Individual and Communal Cremations.

Witnessed Cremation

Our facility is thoughtfully designed for the comfort of our clients in their time of grieving. We offer, by appointment, a private viewing area for those who wish to witness their loved one's cremation.

The staff at Final Gift assures you that your special family member will be handled in a gentle and respectful manner. Final Gift wants to help you in making certain that your beloved pet has a prompt and dignified final resting place.

Individual Cremation

Individual cremation means that your pet is placed individually into the cremation chamber and is kept separate from all other pets. The remains of your loved one are then returned to you in a quality wooden urn.

Individual cremation services include the gentle pick up of your pet at your veterinary hospital or home, the individual cremation process, placing the cremated remains in an attractive urn and hand delivering the remains back to the veterinary hospital to be reunited with your family. A certificate of cremation and grief package is issued with every individual cremation.

Remains are returned within 72 hours of pet pick up. We are also available after-hours for emergency service if needed. Pet drop off is welcome by appointment.

Communal Cremation

Communal cremation means that your pet is cremated in a group setting with other pets. The services include the gentle pick up of your pet at your veterinary hospital or home and the cremation. This option maintains a high level of dignity at a modest cost. Pet ashes are not returned, but are scattered at the discretion of Final Gift in the fields of our family's farm.

Private Burial

All private burial services offered by Final Gift are conducted at Rose Hill Pet Cemetery located in Peacedale, Rhode Island. A private burial means that your pet is placed individually into a private burial plot. This option offers pet owners an opportunity to decorate with flowers and visit the site at anytime. Included in the cost of our private burial services are a burial site, casket and grave marker.

Other Services

Final Gift understands your loss; we are available by request for Emergency 24 Hour Service. Emergency 24 Hour services includes, by appointment, after hour service, the gentle pick up and return of your pet at your home, veterinary hospital, or drop off and pick up at our facility.
